Ryder is committed to "Delivering on the Potential of a Diverse Workforce."
All U.S.-based employees are required to complete the "The Inclusion Journey: Delivering on the Potential of a Diverse Workforce" training. The training focuses on developing individual employee skills to work more effectively in a diverse workplace with people from different backgrounds, ethnicities and values so that all may be "included" in contributing to the success of the business.
In addition, all managers of people are required to attend a follow-up workshop entitled, “Continuing the Journey.” This session provides managers and supervisors with the opportunity to gain more skills in managing a diverse workforce – whether their team is made up of people from different cultures, races, or genders or different working and thinking styles.
