Ryder Launches Alternative Fuels Website Ryder has launched a new alternative fuels website at www.ryder.com/alternativefuels to help customers and fleet owners better understand how they can reduce transportation costs, while meeting sustainability objectives. With just a few clicks, businesses can get all the information they need about the financial, environmental, and long-term advantages of natural gas, hybrid, and electric vehicle technologies. In addition to explaining the various fleet technologies, the site provides one-stop access to the latest news on Ryder alternative fuel products, programs, and initiatives. Ryder Sees Increasing Demand for Natural Gas Trucks Ryder System, Inc. today announced it has already secured lease agreements for 87 heavy-duty natural gas trucks from customers looking to take advantage of the fuel cost savings and environmental benefits of alternative fuel powered vehicles – 65 of those vehicles are part of Ryder's natural gas fleet in Southern California, made available through the Ryder/San Bernardino Associated Governments (SANBAG) Natural Gas Vehicle project. Due to the leadership Ryder has established with the SANBAG project, the Company has also been able to expand its alternative fuel program outside of California and has already secured a lease agreement with customer, Golden Eagle Distributors, Inc., for 22 natural gas vehicles in Arizona. |

Ryder Earns Anti-Terrorism Certifications for Logistics Operations in Asia Ryder has received three anti-terrorism certifications for its Asia and Trans-Pacific logistics operations. These certifications enhance Ryder's existing anti-terrorism certifications for supply chain operations in North America. Ryder Ascent Logistics Singapore and Ryder Supply Chain Solutions Asia – part of Ryder's Supply Chain Solutions division – have been certified as Third Party Logistics Providers (3PL) in the Customs-Trade Partnership against Terrorism (C-TPAT). C-TPAT is a joint U.S. government-business initiative supported by the Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Customs and Border Protection that promotes global supply chain security and reduces border vulnerabilities. Ryder CRSA Logistics, also part of Ryder's Supply Chain Solutions division, has been certified in the Canada Partners in Protection (PIP) program. PIP is a Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) program that enlists the cooperation of private industry to enhance border and trade chain security, combat organized crime and terrorism and help detect and prevent contraband smuggling. |

Ryder Honored with Delphi's Above & Beyond Award Ryder System, Inc. received Delphi's 2010 Above & Beyond Award, one of the company's Pinnacle Family of Awards. The award, established in 2006 and presented annually, recognizes suppliers for special service events that went beyond contractual obligations during the 2010 calendar year. Ryder provides supply chain design and execution activities for Delphi's North American network, as well as cross dock and transportation services for Delphi in the U.S. and Mexico. This award was presented to Ryder specifically for its actions during Hurricane Alex in 2010. Ryder took aggressive steps to ensure the Delphi operations were not affected by the impending storm. |

Milwaukee, WI facility receives Orion Energy Systems Environmental Stewardship Award Total Logistic Control, has earned Orion Energy Systems' Environmental Stewardship Award for the company's reduction in energy consumption using Orion's lighting platform. At Total Logistic Control's, Milwaukee, WI facility, 500 high-intensity discharge (HID) light fixtures were replaced with Orion's Compact Modular™, high-intensity fluorescent (HIF) technology. "TLC's President, Pete Westermann, "We've always practiced sound energy conservation and recycling programs – and today's award is proof of our efforts. Not only were we able to replace the light fixtures, we recycled them through a donation program to local businesses. Ryder Completes Acquisition of "The Scully Companies, Inc. Ryder has completed its previously announced acquisition of The Scully Companies, Inc., based in California. Scully is a privately-owned, major regional provider of full service lease, contract maintenance, commercial rental and dedicated contract carriage solutions primarily serving the western United States. The acquisition is expected to add approximately $100 million in annualized operating revenue and be accretive to earnings in 2011. |

Ryder Completes Acquisition of Total Logistic Control Ryder announced that it has completed the previously announced acquisition of Holland, Michigan-based Total Logistic Control (TLC). TLC is a leading provider of comprehensive supply chain solutions to food, beverage, and consumer packaged goods (CPG) manufacturers with significant supply chains in the U.S. The stock acquisition was completed on December 31, 2010 at a price of approximately $200 million. |
