Joel Eigege is vice president supply chain operations of Ryder Last Mile. In this role, he is responsible for the consumer and client final mile experience for big and bulky items. With Ryder since 2006, Joel was previously vice president and global product manager in Ryder’s Fleet Management Services (FMS) line of business. He led the Global Commercial Rental product team, responsible for providing truck rental and other transportation solutions to customers in North America and the United Kingdom. During his Ryder career, Joel has held positions of increasing responsibility with finance, operations, data analytics, and customer service organizations.
Prior to joining Ryder, Joel worked as a product engineer in the automotive industry where he focused on product innovation and reevaluation of existing products aimed at cost reductions.
Joel earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, with a concentration in Mechanical Engineering, from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He serves as an advisory board member of the North Carolina A & T College of Science and Technology, as well as a Board Member of the National Home Delivery Association.
