Ryder Reports Third Quarter 2019 Revenue of $2.2 Billion, Up 3%; Earnings Impacted by Change in Residual Value Estimates
Ryder System, Inc. (NYSE: R), a leader in commercial fleet management , dedicated transportation , and supply chain solutions, reports total and operating revenue in the third quarter. Revenue grew in Fleet Management Solutions and Dedicated Transportation Solutions reflecting new business and higher volumes. Third quarter GAAP EPS was a loss of $(1.75) as compared to $1.73 in the prior year, reflecting an increase in non-cash depreciation expense primarily related to the change in vehicle residual value estimates. Comparable EPS was a loss of $(1.49) as compared to $1.67 in the prior year.
