California requires that we disclose additional information regarding our privacy practices and your privacy rights. If you (“consumer”) are a California resident, Ryder Systems, Inc. and its corporate business affiliates (collectively, "we", "us", or "our") provide you additional notices about our privacy practices and consumer rights relating to your Personal Information. This California Consumer Privacy Act Privacy Policy ("Policy") supplements the information contained in the Ryder Privacy Policy.
This Policy uses certain terms that have the meaning given to them in the CCPA (as amended by the CPRA) and its implementing regulations. This Policy does not reflect our collection, use, or disclosure of California residents’ personal information, or data subject rights, where an exception or exemption under the CCPA applies.
Information We Collect
We may collect Personal Information from you in a variety of different situations, including, but not limited to on any of our websites, your mobile device, through email, in physical locations, through the mail, over the telephone, and/or in any other situation where we interact with you. More specifically, depending on the services rendered or sites visited and on the particular Business Purpose for which we collected, we have collected the following categories of Personal Information from Consumers within the last twelve (12) months (Not all categories will be collected or received for every individual.):

We do not use or disclose sensitive Personal Information for> purposes other than those specified in Cal. Civil Code 1798.121(a). We will not retain your Personal Information for longer than is reasonably necessary to carry out the purposes we disclose in this Policy.
If we process de-identified information, we will maintain the information in a deidentified form and not attempt to reidentify the information, except that we may attempt to reidentify the information solely for the purpose of determining whether deidentification processes used satisfy legal requirements.
California Sales and Sharing of Personal Information
California law provides for certain disclosures about Personal Information we “sell,” which means certain scenarios in which we have disclosed Personal Information with third parties or affiliates, in exchange for valuable consideration.
The California law also requires that we notify you if we “share” your Personal Information with third parties. For purposes of the CPRA, “sharing” means that we make available or otherwise disclose your information to third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising, such as targeting of advertising to you based on your Personal Information obtained from your activity across businesses, websites, apps, and services other than our Services. The categories of Personal Information we disclose for cross-context behavioral advertising include Identifiers and Internet or other similar network activity.
We disclose Personal Information collected about website visitors to advertising partners to provide website visitors with more interesting and customized information, promotions, and advertising, which is considered "selling" and "sharing" under the CCPA.
California Notice of Financial Incentive
California’s privacy law requires that we notify you if we provide you a program, benefit, or other offering, related to the collection, deletion, or sale of Personal Information, which it defines as a “financial incentive.” We offer coupons, gift cards and other product incentives (“incentives”) to prospective and current customers. Sometimes, consumers sign up or provide us their Personal Information (e.g., email address) in order to receive incentives. As such, under the CCPA, our incentives may be considered financial incentives provided in exchange for the collection and retention of Personal Information.
We offer these incentives to enhance our relationship with you or so you can enjoy or try our products at a lower price. There is no obligation to opt-in and consumers may opt-out at any time. The details of each program are contained in each such program offering.

Only you, or someone legally authorized to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your Personal Information. You may also make a verifiable consumer request on behalf of your minor child. You may designate an authorized agent by taking the steps outlined under "Authorized Agent" further below. In your request or in response to us seeking additional information, you, or your authorized agent, mustprovide sufficient information to allow us to reasonably verify that you are, in fact, the person whose Personal Information was collected which will depend on your prior interactions with us and the sensitivity of the Personal Information being requested. We may ask you for information to verify your identity and, if you do not provide enough information for us to reasonably verify your identity, we will not be able to fulfill your request. We will only use the Personal Information you provide to us in a request for the purposes of verifying your identity and to fulfill your request.

If you provide an authorized agent with power of attorney pursuant to Probate Code sections 4121 to 4130, it may not be necessary to perform these steps, and we will respond to any request from such authorized agent in accordance with the CCPA.
