The Ryder Field Maintenance Manager position is responsible for the management and execution of a comprehensive maintenance program for their business unit. This position ensures that the FMS key maintenance objectives, plans and strategies are effectively communicated and implemented within their respective business unit.
As a Ryder Maintenance Manager, you have direct responsibility for overseeing a team that includes Service Managers and their respective locations. This position ensures that key FMS maintenance objectives, plans and strategies are effectively communicated, implemented and met within their respective location(s) within the business unit, which is inclusive of all maintenance and quality processes and financial measures. The position also participates in the growth of the branches/business unit through increased customer retention, expansion and new sales. Additionally, this position will require the individual to collaborate with all functional groups to meet operational excellence standards.
As a Ryder Service Manager/Senior Service Manager, you will manage the operations and personnel for one or more of Ryder’s fast-paced maintenance facilities. The Service Manager is responsible for ensuring that the needs of the customers are being met while balancing the financial targets against the requirements of the business. This may also be a development position for Maintenance Manager or Manager of Quality Assurance roles.
As a Ryder Shift Supervisor, you will support the Service Manager in the day-to-day operations and managing the personnel for a shift of a particular location. The Shift Supervisor must be able to accomplish results and ensure business objectives and labor requirements are met. The Shift Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the customers' needs are being met while balancing financial, operating, quality, safety and asset targets against the requirements of the business. This may also be a development position to prepare incumbents for the Service Manager role.

The Ryder Customer Service Coordinator supports the shop management process through timely customer communications and scheduling, inventory ordering and stocking, repair follow-up and maintenance file management.
The Ryder Shop Parts Clerk is a critical part of this team and is responsible for the oversight of parts ordering, receiving, cataloging, inventory and reconciliation of all parts at a single location. This position is responsible to ensure the right part is purchased from the right vendor and maintain inventory level to maximize customer uptime.
